Any oil can be used such as coconut oil, sesame oil and sunflower oil. However, they’re not as effective as bleaching agents used by dentists as they are not as strong. However, whitening can be achieved after a prolong usage of whitening products! It is important to maintain the whitening as well as treat the teeth using sensitive toothpaste.
4. Pay Attention to Your Oral Hygiene
In order to have whiter teeth, you must be particular of your oral hygiene. A few simple steps towards your oral hygiene can go a long way in keeping your teeth white. Firstly, make it a point to always brush your teeth immediately after consuming foods and beverages, which are known to cause teeth stain. In addition, a whitening toothpaste and periodic flossing will definitely lead to whiter and brighter teeth.
5. Know What You Consume
It is important to turn away from products that can cause teeth staining such as tea, coffee and berries. These products easily cause discoloration of your teeth due to the Chromogens (deeply pigmented molecules) that are present in them, by binding to the enamel of your teeth. However, if you still do plan on consuming such beverages then using a straw while drinking will help to prevent plaque.
